Explore Réunion through our tailor-made circuits, designed by Caroline and her team from Saint Pierre. Each itinerary combines the three UNESCO-listed cirques (Mafate, Cilaos, Salazie), the ascent of Piton de la Fournaise, the coral beaches of the west between Saint-Gilles and l'Ermitage, and Creole cuisine from guesthouses in the Hauts. Whether you travel as a family, couple, or with friends, our circuits adapt to your pace, from an 8-day discovery stay to a full 15-day island tour blending hiking and relaxation. Find the itinerary that suits you and set off with peace of mind with an English-speaking local agency.

How to choose your circuit in Réunion?

Réunion is best explored in 10 to 12 days to complete the island loop by combining the west coast, interior cirques and volcano. For those wanting to tackle Mafate crossings on foot or climb multiple peaks, our 13 to 17-day itineraries allow time to stay in guesthouses at La Nouvelle, Marla or Roche-Plate. We recommend combining a base on the west coast, a stay in Cilaos or Hell-Bourg in the Highlands, and two nights near Pas de Bellecombe to tackle Piton de la Fournaise at sunrise.

Different types of circuits

Our programs are built around three main themes. Mountain and high altitude circuits suit hikers who want to climb Piton des Neiges (3070 m), cross Mafate and explore Dolomieu crater. Nature and landscape itineraries highlight panoramic views, Voile de la Mariée waterfalls and Bébour-Bélouve forest, at an accessible pace. Finally, our gastronomy and art of living journeys include stays at guesthouses in Entre-Deux, markets in Saint-Paul and rum distilleries in Saint-Pierre.

What is the best season?

The dry season, from May to November, remains the most favorable period: clear skies over the cirques, passable trails, temperatures of 20 to 26 °C on the coast and 10 to 18 °C in the Highlands. September and October are ideal for hiking and spotting humpback whales off Saint-Gilles (July to October). The wet season, from December to April, brings heat (28-31 °C) and tropical showers, with cyclone risk from January to March: we then adapt itineraries toward the west coast, which is drier.
